SMSIS Supports World Health Day with Health Promotion Activities

The students’ lunch boxes today at Seri Mulia Sarjana International School are noticeably healthier than the students’ usual fare. Fried finger foods and quick snacks are replaced with healthy fresh fruits and vegetables. This is part of the school’s initiative to promote healthy eating habits among the students in support of World Health Day.

As part of the day’s activities, a talk about healthy eating habits was conducted to raise awareness and encourage healthy living. This was followed by a 20 minute exercise session involving teachers, staff, and students throughout the whole school.

To make a firm commitment to healthy living, a “No Junk Food Day” campaign will be observed every Friday. SMSIS believes that socially aware global citizens with healthy bodies support healthy minds.
