Reading is one the most essential skills in preschooler’s life to achieve greater school success. With Excited About Reading-Home Reading Programme (EAR-HRP), SMSIS-Preschool aspires Kindergarten 2 and 3 to reinforce their reading skills, develop a love for reading and make them excited about reading.
SMSIS believes that with the involvement of parents with their children’s education, greater connections can be strengthened to set the foundation of strong and independent reading. The EAR-Home Reading Programme helps our teachers and parents to tackle reading challenges, thus encourages our children to foster genuine and positive attitudes towards reading.
To envision this, it is important that parents and teachers work together as a team. The parental support highlights positive impact on our children’s education at the same time, to the whole school community.
