The MAPE Department has initiated its first school trip this year, bringing year 2 and year 3 students to the University of Brunei Darussalam. In collaboration with Kelab Orkestra Gulintangan Varsiti (KOGV), the field trip aimed to enhance our understanding of traditional instruments by providing hands-on learning opportunities outside of the classroom. This musical cultural trip has taken a rhythmic exploration, where enchanting melodies and vibrant beats intertwine, revealing the universal language of music. From traditional tunes that echo the ancient stories of a people to modern compositions that blend genres and bridge continents, witness the profound influence of Brunei culture on musical expression.
