Our Early Years Reception students recently embarked on an exciting field trip to Supa Save to enhance their understanding of “The Concept of Money”, a key topic within our Unit of Inquiry (UOI) – “All About Me.” Through this hands-on experience, they explored the difference between needs and wants, made real-life shopping choices, practiced counting and recognizing money, and learned about their role as consumers in the community. By engaging in this meaningful activity, our young learners discovered how money is used in everyday life while developing essential numeracy, social, and decision-making skills. What a fun and enriching way to learn! Stay tuned for more amazing learning adventures at SMSIS!
